United States Green Building Counsil - South Dakota Chapter South Dakota Chapter

Educating the general public and future generations about LEED and sustainable building is one of our chapters top priorities. We believe that by educating the children of today, we will have a brighter tomorrow.

We welcome opportunities to talk to students, teachers and parents about LEED and sustainable building. Last month we took the 5th graders from South Park Elementary to the Game, Fish & Parks Outdoor Campus West (a LEED Gold facility) to teach them about LEED and send them on a sustainbility scavenger hunt. It was a huge success! Many of the kids had never been to the Outdoor Campus West before and everyone learned something about LEED.
